By now, I’m fully onboard with the MIDI sequencers and my goal is to see how closely I can resemble a Big Band and so the songs are expressed with that in mind. There are four originals and four covers, all performed by me with four sung by Andrea.

Bumble Boogie is the odd one out. Back in the day, people used to have social groups for particular interests where you would actually go outside, away from your house to a public place such as a library or community center and get together and share knowledge and tools etc. Computer groups were very popular for example. At one such group I came across a MIDI sequence of Flight Of The Bumble Bee done in a piano boogie style. The creator of this work was unknown and remains unknown to this day. I built my Big Band around it and called it Bumble Boogie. So what you hear is someone’s meticulously MIDI programmed piano encompassed by my “Big Band”.
